Frederick “Fabulous Freddie Prodigy” Leroy is a Voguer/Bboy in the community. He has been dancing for 12+ years, starting with breaking in high school. Throughout his career, Freddie has learned to grow and adapt with who he is as a dance-maker, experimenting with femininity and masculinity in the artist’s own lexicon of movement. Freddie’s dance journey is a self-exploration and healing practice in claiming himself whole through embodying his masculine and feminine energies as a Black Gay artist. By choosing to express himself through both Breaking and Vogue Femme movement foundations, he has opened a new space for an important conversation to happen through his body.
